One of the biggest influences on student success is a strong, supportive network of family, school, and community. Texas PTA’s Connect programs are designed to educate and empower school communities around the key issues impacting today’s students.

PTA leaders can access ready-to-use presentations on topics like mental wellness, vaping, financial literacy, school safety, and more. Each program includes:

• A recorded presentation from a subject matter expert
• A one-page facilitator guide with discussion questions
• Optional activities for further engagement
• Materials available in English and Spanish

These resources are perfect for family engagement nights, PTA meetings, or panel discussions. PTA leaders are also encouraged to invite school staff—such as principals, counselors, or nurses—to participate, helping provide local insights and answer questions from families.
