PURPOSE: Promote literacy by providing families the opportunity to purchase used books at a low cost and provide grants to Allen ISD staff to enhance student experiences in school.

 

DATES:

  • Setup: April 17-23, 2026
  • Sale: April 23-25, 2026

         Thursday, April 23, 2026 from 4 - 8 pm

         Friday, April 24, 2026 from 10 am - 8 pm

         Saturday, April 25, 2026 from 9 am - 3 pm

 

LOCATION: Allen ISD Service Center, 1451 N. Watters Rd, Allen TX 75013



PRICES: 

  • All paperback books are $1
  • All hardback books are $2

 

PROCEEDS:

50% to Allen ISD Council of PTAs to go toward Allen ISD staff grants & Council operating costs
50% to be split between participating local PTAs

Requirements for Participation:

  • Collect, Sort & Count books at your campus

  • Volunteer 4 hours during setup, sale or event breakdown

Local proceeds will either go toward local PTA projects or they may choose to donate them towards Allen ISD staff grants.
