VOLUNTEERS SIGN UP HERE

PURPOSE: Promote literacy by providing families the opportunity to purchase used books at a low cost and provide grants to Allen ISD staff to enhance student experiences in school.

 

DATES: 

  • Setup: April 23-25, 2024

  • Sale: April 25-27, 2024
    Thursday 5:00 - 8:00 PM
    Friday 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM
    Saturday 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM 
    Saturday 4:00 - 5:00 PM for Allen ISD Staff (ID badge required)

 

LOCATION: Allen ISD Service Center

 

 

PROCEEDS:

50% to Allen ISD Council of PTAs to go toward Allen ISD staff grants & Council operating costs
50% to be split between participating local PTAs

Requirements for Participation:

  • Collect, Sort & Count books at your campus

  • Volunteer 6 hours during setup or the sale

Local proceeds will either go toward local PTA projects or they may choose to donate them towards Allen ISD staff grants.
