Straight Talk 2026

The Allen ISD Council of PTAs held a watch party for Texas PTA’s Straight Talk event, “Raising the AI Generation,” on Thursday, February 26, at the Allen ISD Service Center. This was the first time we hosted a watch party and we had a great turnout!

Attendees enjoyed lunch while watching the Texas PTA stream, and they heard from Allen ISD teachers, counselors, admin, and staff on how artificial intelligence is shaping learning, privacy, and student well-being. The discussion was relevant and practical, parents had meaningful questions, and our panelists appreciated the opportunity to engage with our PTA community.
