Arts in Education

Arts in Education is a long-standing priority for PTA, and working to incorporate the arts into daily learning contributes to growth and education of the whole child. Visit Texas PTA or National PTA for more information on Arts in Education programs.

PTA Reflections is a nationally acclaimed student recognition program to encourage artistic creativity in the classroom and at home. Students of all grades and abilities may participate and explore the arts based on the 2026-2027 theme: “What my culture means to me”. Visit the Allen ISD Council of PTAs Reflections page for more details and timelines as they become available.

ArtSparks is an art appreciation/visual literacy program designed by the Allen Arts Alliance. The program brings trained volunteers into local classrooms, giving the children the opportunity to interact with and explore great works of art, participate in an engaging discussion, and reinforce concepts with related enrichment/hands-on activities. The program is free to AISD schools.
